THE LINE UP

Hey everyone! I hope we all had a good and profitable weekend. Last week I got my rocks off when the MLB started and I'm still loving it. Today I want to talk about the Toronto Bluejays line up. Like I said before my team is the White Sox but I will always have a soft spot for the team that made me fall in love with the game of baseball at a young age. Ok so if we start off with the top of the line up we got Rajai Davis. For the first time since the Shannon Stewart years, we have a legitimate lead off hitter. This guy is crazy quick and if he can consistently get on base, look for the 2-4 spots to get a ton of fastballs. More fastballs can only be a good thing for a young Yunel Escobar. Hitting in the #2 spot this year will do him good. Also with fantastic speed this kid possesses a great eye and moderate power. look for him to have a big year. Now the #3 spot needs no introduction. Jose Bautista is arguably the one of the best hitters in the game today. Always a home run threat with a decent 3 spot average. It will be hard to do what he did last year but I think 30-40 home runs is a very realistic possibility. Bautista's success will be largely effected by how Adam Lind performs. If Lind gets back to the way he was 2 years ago, it will be a lot harder to pitch around Jose. I'm a little worried about him thinking about his new defensive spot to much and letting up on the bat. Only time will tell how he works out this year. Aaron Hill in the 5th spot is another player that's looking to have a bounce back year. After a year of sub par play Hill knows he needs to perform this year to sign that contract extension. Edwin Encarnacion has come into the spring in the best shape of his career. Hitting 20+ home runs last year with limited at bats, leaves me with high hopes. His defence still worries me, having 2 errors already in the first 3 games. Travis Snider has one of the best moustaches I've ever seen lol. If someone could just teach him to hit an off speed pitch, he would be a legit big league hitter. The pitchers around the league know he mashes fastballs, so all he tends to get now are alot of off speed junk. The good thing is that he is young and has lots of time to work on that. He will get a bunch of playing time this season due to the fact he has a great arm and is very comfortable in the field if he can stay healthy.  Its looking like Juan Rivera will be the DH for most of the year.  This guy is capable of hitting 25-35 home runs a year if he can stay healthy. Finally hitting in the 9 spot is one of the best young prospects in the game today in J.P Arencibia. This kid tosses ropes from behind the plate and can hit like a young Pudge. At the age of 24, this kid has played in the spotlight his whole life. I don't see the pressure of the big league stage getting to him much. In a few days ill lay it down on the pitching staff. There's just to many good things to say and I want to see how they do their second start. Thanks for checking me out (totally straight). GL on your picks and plays !
